SUTTLE LAKE LOCATION:
Central Oregon Cascades, 14 miles west of Sisters, Oregon on Hwy
The Central Oregon Cascades area is renowned for its sunny weather,
mountain peak vistas, ponderosa pine forests, clear lakes and streams,
and many year-round recreational opportunities.
Nestled on the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountains 14 miles
west of Sisters, Suttle Lake Camp is a special place where the vivid
green of Western Oregon mingles with the sunny beauty of the eastern
part of the state. Rich in plant and wildlife communities, Suttle
Lake is a natural place to explore God's creation and experience
Christ's love in a caring community. Recreation abounds here! Enjoy
hiking amongst the tall trees, swimming, laughing with new and old
friends, taking a canoe or kayak ride along the lakeshore, the thrill
of inner-tubing down the creek, creating a craft, or playing volley
ball. Suttle Lake offers great opportunities for fun, fellowship,
songs, and Christian growth in small and large groups. Some events
also have opportunities for rafting or horseback riding. (ACA accredited)
Housing is available for groups of 20 to 160 in 2 lodges and 20
cabins (12 cabins winterized for year-round use). Nutritious and
delicious meals provided. Groups under 40 may do own cooking in
Wesley Meadow Lodge.
